--Former DEFIANCE Superstar, ‘COOL’ Cancer Jiles, made a brief appearance during DEFIANCE Wrestling’s last show. Jiles, who hasn’t been seen or spoken of on DEFIANCE Television for at least a year, rushed out to the ring to aid another wrestler, and in doing so, fended off the newly crowned Southern Heritage Champion, Curtis Penn.
Afterwards, Jiles was seen backstage talking to a few of the old regime from his days within the federation. No word on if Cancer’s return was for one night only, or if he plans to sign a contract with his former employer.
In related news, Angus Skaland, a long time advisor to Jiles, was hospitalized after the show concluded.

EDIT: Word out of Jiles’ camp is that he will be at DEFIANCE TV 54. There has been no confirmation yet on if this is just another appearance, or if Jiles has once again resigned with the company.
EDIT 2: At a recent fan fest, Jiles was asked about his run in with Curtis Penn, the man Jiles had an altercation with during DEFIANCE TV 53. His response, “Watch and see.”
EDIT 3: After spending three days in a recovery unit, Angus Skaland has been released. Sources close to the color-man say it was his heart, and that it somehow exploded into itself when Jiles shook hands with him backstage.
