Furious Front Office

Many in the DEFIANCE backstage have been talking about the recent actions by James Witherhold (Perfection) and him no showing his match on DEFtv72 which has upper management furious.
While it was announced live to those watching on Hulu and at the Wrestleplex that Perfection would not be competing due to injury, following an earlier attack by Code Name Reaper, some are saying that it isn’t true and that the wrestler was dodging another encounter by Reaper.
Unconfirmed rumors have circulated that post the match on DEFtv 72 Kelly Evans found Perfection in a locker room with no visible injuries hanging out with The Hollywood Bruvs (Mikey Unlikely & Kendrix). It is said that Evans was furious over the wrestler’s antics and his decision to not fulfil his obligations. Shortly after finding Witherhold, Evans had DEFsec remove Perfection from the locker room and escorted him to Evans’ office for an official reprimanding.
A brief statement was submitted however by the offices of Courtney Paz today:
“Ms. Evans made it perfectly clear that Perfection was to not injure, harm, or even come in contact with a referee during his match on DEFtv 72 or James would have been terminated. James fulfilled that obligation by forfeiting his match due to injury and kept the safety of the official as his main priority as he always does.”
Neither Paz nor Perfection have released what type of “injury” was sustained, if any. More information has trickled down that the Grudge Match between Code Name Reaper and Perfection has been bumped from a standard one fall contest to a two out of three falls encounter. Kelly Evans was quoted as stating she “wants to give the fans every opportunity to see these two wrestlers” and that “even Perfection’s childish games won’t prevent this match from happening”.
