BRAZEN: Clash of the BRAZEN 5/22/22
22 May 2022
War Memorial Auditorium, Ft. Lauderdale, FL (seats 2,110)
Pre-Show Match: COUNT NOVICK VS. "THE CAT'S PAJAMAS ERNIE HUDSON"
What better way to kick off tonight’s pre-show… than with a vampire fighting and admitted identity thief?
Count Novick gets a big ovation from the crowd while Ernie Wisdom makes his way out and to get the crowd on his case. He gets on the mic and says that he believes Count Novick isn’t a real vampire. The Count responds in kind by rocking him with a dropkick! He heads to the top rope, then hits a top rope dropkick! He crosses his arms over his chest and kips up to the delight of the crowd before diving out onto Ernie Wisdom with a suicide dive!
Back inside, Ernie Wisdom keeps The Count from another dive with a trip off the top. He hits a trio of swinging neckbreakers, and then tries to steal the Graveyard Smash… only for Count Novick to get his knees up first! He gets dropped with the Bump In The Night (Sky High)! Then heads up top… GRAVEYARD SMASH! The top rope senton connects and he gets the three-count to kick off the pre-show!
WINNER: Count Novick @ 4:56 via pinfall with The Graveyard Smash
Pre-Show Match: STRONG AF vs. GERARDO VILLALOBOS
The first-ever Onslaught Champion, Gerardo Villalobos, comes out swinging quickly on the former Olympic powerlifter Strong AF with a splash in the corner followed by a big vertical suplex for a two-count! Gerardo tries a running splash, but Strong AF moves out of the way at the last second! Strong AF lives up to his name after that when he is able to get Gerardo up for a HUGE vertical suplex off his own from off the mat!
Strong AF batters the big man with clubbing forearms to the chest and then follows up with a big running lariat off the ropes, but only gets a two-count! Gerardo fights back with a big side belly to belly suplex and then finally his the running splash for a two-count! The crowd is behind the leader of the Barrio Boys, but when he tries for a big move… the crowd is WOWED when Strong AF PRESSES the big man over his head with a huge gorilla press slam! Strong AF then picks him up and DRIVES him down with the Deadly AF Northern Lights Bomb and picks up the three-count and win in the process!
WINNER: Strong AF @ 5:16 via pinfall with Deadly AF
Pre-Show Match: NATHAN CROSS vs. FLAMBERGE
The third and final pre-show match sees the rising star, Nathan Cross, take on the silent assassin, FLAMBERGE. FLAMBERGE takes him down to the mat in the opening, but Cross is able to use his athleticism to counter a whip in the corner with a springboard flying forearm! Cross hits a snapmare followed by a dropkick to the back for two!
FLAMBERGE takes advantage of a missed crossbody by Cross later on, then nails a huge penalty kick from the ring apron while Cross ends up on the floor. FLAMBERGE ignores Cross and looks for a countout win, but the bold Cross defies the young fighter to get back into the ring before the ten-count! FLAMBERGE works over the left arm with stomps, but Cross fights back with a leaping side kick!
The tempo gets picked up when FLAMBERGE gets a springboard crossbody off the middle ropes by Cross, followed by the former basketball player taking to the top rope for a high angle diving crossbody for a long two-count! Nathan tries for the rolling cutter, but FLAMBERGE flips out and then hits a release exploder suplex for two! He tries to pick up Cross again, but a surprise inside cradle lands Cross the 1-2-3!
WINNER: Nathan Cross @ 10:25 pinfall via with an inside cradle
Nathan Cross after the match goes to celebrate on the middle rope… until FLAMBERGE attacks him and shoves him to the floor! He gets attacked on the outside and latches on the Marie Antoinette (guillotine choke) until DEFSec comes out to break it up! FLAMBERGE gets jeers as he storms out of the arena… but it’s clear that this issue is far from over between the two men.

DERRICK HUBER!
ADAM ROEBUCK!
THE HOUSE!!!
THE HOUSE VS. THE DUNSON CLAN
The BRAZEN Faithful get loud for the career sixteen-time tag team champions making their return after they were injured at the hands of their mentors, The Lucky Sevens, several months ago! Paul Dunson yells at his sons Todd and Richie to not embarrass the family.
Todd tries to fight big Derrick Huber, but the muscled half of The House hits a big discus clothesline called The Money Line! Paul Dunson freaks out, but Huber nudges Todd in the corner because he wants Richie to tag. Richie tags when Huber tags Roebuck. Roebuck gives him a free shot, but all he gets is buried under an avalanche of pain when Roebuck uses a body block. A big splash later and he might be done!
Huber and Roebuck pick up Richie and hit the double-team powerbomb called The Bust! Huber pins Richie and the three-count is a sure bet!
WINNER: The House @ 1:21 via pinfall with Bust (Huber pins Richie Dunson)
After the match Paul tries to get in and attack Huber but Roebuck flattens him with the Bad Hand! The thumb thrust drops Paul Dunson and he’s sucking in wind now. The dominant long time tag team make the return to competition, putting the various members of BRAZEN on their toes!
BRAZEN STAR CUP SCRAMBLE: LEYENDA DE OCHO (C) vs. KAZUHIRO TROY vs. GEORGE OTHELLO vs. BRAYDEN W. LEVRINGTON
The first of four championship matches is the defending BRAZEN Star Cup holder Leyenda de Ocho defending the championship in the first of its kind… a four-way scramble match! Normally a 15 minute Iron Man Match, the Cup is being contested in a special four-way 20-minute Iron Man Match. Whoever has the most falls at the end of the time limit will win the Cup! In the event of a draw, the opponents that drew will fight in a sudden-death one-fall to determine the winner!
George Othello comes out first to a nice pop as the young technical Welshman and former pupil of Oscar Burns heads out. Brayden W. Levrington gets jeers next, followed by Kazuhiro Troy of Les Enfants Terrible receiving even bigger jeers. Out comes Leyenda De Ocho last and with all four competitors inside, the action gets started quickly when Levrington goes after Othello while Troy jumps LDO with a running kick!
The two forces fight one another until Leyenda de Ocho gets flipped over the ropes and takes Troy with him to the floor! LDO then runs off the apron and nails a shooting star press off the ring apron right onto Kaz! Inside, Brayden gets dropped over the ropes by Othello, then Georgie Boy takes flight with an amazing Fosbury Flop onto all three men! The Faithful go nuts when Georgie Boy tries a cover on LDO, only to get a two-count!
Brayden throws Troy into the ringpost on the outside and then slides inside to hit dropkicks on everyone, then a DDT on Othello for two! Brayden takes control and talks trash as he beats up George, then LDO in the ring… but when he tries to hit The Autograph, George grabs the ropes and he drops! LDO hits him with a sliding dropkick, then George his Uppercut It Out! (springboard European Uppercut) for a two!
Then when Georgie Boy thinks he’s got LDO in a armbar, he gets stopped by a big diving double foot stomp on Othello! Brayden walks into a sling blade, then LDO into a STIFF corkscrew roundhouse kick from the son of LT! Kaz focuses his efforts on Brayden and then locks in the Heretic’s Fork! The Koji Clutch (as also used by his mother dearest) has him, but before he can tap out, LDO takes flight now with a springboard moonsault off the top cable and breaks things up to a huge pop from the crowd!
Just under half the time remains with no pinfalls or submissions gained just yet with everyone breaking up covers to save the chance for themselves! LDO hits a shining wizard on Troy and then hits the ACTUALIZER! But before he can cover, Brayden throws LDO into the ring post then steals a cover
ONE FALL FOR BRAYDEN W. LEVRINGTON!
The crowd jeers when he tries a second, but George grabst the leg and applies the Leg up! The figure four kneebar is locked in on Levrington! Troy is still out and LDO is out on the floor! He has choice but to tap out!
ONE FALL FOR GEORGE OTHELLO!
The young Welshman celebrates and then tries to pick up Brayden, hitting him with a powerful Hammerlock lariat! He goes for the pin when he gets rocked with a Shining Wizard from LDO followed by another Actualizer! The springboard corkscrew quebrada pins…
ONE FALL FOR LEYENDA DE OCHO!
Everyone now is on the board except for Kazuhiro Troy with a few minutes left on the clock! Leyenda goes up top, but Brayden stops him and goes up top… then George tries to follow behind him…when Troy comes off and ALL competitors crash with a double powerbomb/superplex combo! Troy picks off Brayden…
ROYAL TREATMENT!
The Double Underhook Piledriver connects… and Troy gets a fall!
ONE FALL FOR KAZUHIRO TROY!
One fall a piece now with just minutes left!
The men exchange schoolboy pins and try to steal! Backslide from George on Troy gets a two-count! La majistral from LDO gets a two-count on Brayden! Brayden reverses into one of his own! Both men gets rolled up into cradle positions….. BUT NO FALLS!
The buzzer goes off with one fall a piece for all four men, taking us to SUDDEN DEATH!
Brayden hits a superkick on George, but only gets a two-count when LDO breaks it up with a big splash! LDO his another Actualizer on Brayden…
ONE…
TWO…
PILLORY! PILLORY FROM KAZUHIRO ON LEYENDA DE OCHO!
George is down!
Brayden is down!
The crowd urges him to fight and LDO tries. George Othello tries to get up and break it up… but ARCHER SILVER to the rescue! He pulls the Welshman out of the ring and DROPS him with a Silver Bullet (gamengiri) kick on the floor!
LDO… LDO TAPS!
WINNER: Kazuhiro Troy @ 24:46 via submission to WIN the BRAZEN Star Cup!
The Faithful jeer while the unwanted assist from LET stablemate Archer Silver doesn’t go unnoticed. When the referee gives up the Cup, Kazuhiro Troy raises the trophy up and is now the first LET member to hold the prestigious prize! Troy sees Archer Silver out and claps for him before he leaves and heads to the back. Troy ignores Silver and celebrates with the prize before taking his leave!
BRAZEN ONSLAUGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, NO DQ: MICHAEL VAN WARREN (C) vs. BRAGG
Several battles between defending champion Michael Van Warren and challenger BRAGG have ended twice in a no-countout and a no contest respectively, bringing us to tonight. BRAGG is the only past holder of the Onslaught Title that has not been pinned to lose it and Michael Van Warren already holds the record for most consecutive days as champion and being the only two-time holder… a feat that BRAGG can second with a win tonight.
Tonight, it’s No DQ, No Countout for the hotly contested title! BRAGG comes out first to a great ovation! The giant brawler from New Orleans heads into the ring quickly and waits for mVw… Mr. Onslaught as he has been dubbed comes out with the title and he’s ready for a fight.
The bell rings and the two men go to hockey-fighting right away! The BRAZEN Faithful love a good HOSSFITE! BRAGG elbows him and headbutts him in the corner, but when he tries a corner splash, he misses… but a facebuster on the knee followed by a release German suplex don’t! MVW stands up and roars to the crowd, but gets the shock of his life when BRAGG pops right back up MURDERS him with a giant spear to the mat!
MVW escapes to the floor, but The Big Bad goes after him on the outside. It is No DQ and No Countout, but the pinfall must happen inside the ring. BRAGG runs forward…
SHOULDER TACKLE THROUGH THE BARRIER!
The Faithful roar with the massive head-on collision between champ and challenger as they both go through the barricade with not much else. BRAGG gets up first and then throws Michael into the ring post… and inside the ring, he hits Watch That Next Step (inverted Chokeslam facebuster) … but only a two-count!
BRAGG gears up for the Sorry About Your Jaw, but Warren dodges the punch and sidesteps behind BRAGG…
WAKIZASHI SLASHER! (discus clothesline!)

The bombs keep being thrown! Michael Van Warren keeps BRAGG down with a huge DDT and then crawls to the outside… chairs galore get thrown into the ring, along with a table! He slides the table in and when BRAGG tries to get up, MVW cracks him across the back, then the chest and then one STIFF shot to the head to bring him down! The Big Bad has been brought to the mat with MVW setting the table in the corner. He has BRAGG lined up…
ZODIAC SP… NO!
BRAGG catches him… RUNNING POWERSLAM THROUGH THE TABLE!

Eight teams compete in the next match to determine who will win a Golden Opportunity at the BRAZEN Tag Team Titles. Unlike a match, the Golden Opportunity can be cashed in at a time and place of the user’s choosing!
The match starts with Customer Support taking on the Southern Bastards! JJ Dixon works hard to dictate the pace with some big high-flying! He hits a big pair of suicide dives on both members of Customer Support, but Simon Kinsberg clips the leg on the outside! Trevor Manning manages to lock in a stiff leg lock and before MASSIVE Cowboy can help, he gets tapped out!
Customer Support faces off with their mortal enemy… Safety Patrol! Sgt. Safety goes wild with flying back elbows and uppercuts before hitting a big seated powerbomb on Manning, but Kinsberg saves his partner. They take turns working over Sgt. Safety while Jeff Belltron is held back. Jeff makes it into the ring, punches in and goes to work! Diving double axe handle to Kinsberg, a big boot off the apron to Manning, then a diving double axe handle to the floor! He tags Sgt. Safety and doubles over Manning with a big knee, then the Safety Pin! (running jackknife pin) for a three-count!
Next up…
LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES!
This time, though, High Flyer IV saunters out with the only two-time BRAZEN Champion in history, Killjoy, behind him as his new partner for the evening and Killjoy MAULS both men in quick fashion! Sgt. Safety tries to surprise Killjoy with a running jackknife, but can’t get the monster off his feet. High Flyer IV wipes out Jeff Belltron with an incredible top rope asai moonsault while inside, Killjoy hits the Freefall on Sgt. Safety! Thus, the fans are heartbroken!
Up next is the other members of The Dunson Clan that didn’t compete earlier, former Onslaught Champ Paul Dunson and his heavyset nephew, Finn Dunson! Dunson bullies High Flyer with a spear on the outside while Paul Dunson tries to use his own brass knuckles. He was the first winner of a Golden Opportunity Rumble leading to becoming Onslaught Champion. He has the knuckles and nails Killjoy in the stomach… and doubles over… but before he can fire off another shot behind the official’s back, Killjoy GOOZLES him and chokeslams Paul out of his boots! Finn tries to save his dad, but High Flyer IV wipes him out with a running yakuza kick… or a Locomotive if you ask his father! Killjoy pins Paul Dunson!
After they get wiped out, High Investigations comes out next and Eddie Cheno runs right after him while the giant Titiyalo goes shoulder to shoulder with the massive Killjoy, exchanging shoulder blocks to try and knock the other over! The two men trade shots in the ring and the crowd is cheering them both on! High Flyer IV tries to intervene on behalf of Killjoy, but Cheno decks him with a right! Things get bad for Killjoy when they both double team Killjoy and get him off his feet with a huge double suplex! Titilayo hits a big running splash off the ropes! ONE! TWO!
High Flyer IV breaks it up with a springboard double foot stomp!
Titilayo is hurt when Killjoy gets him up… INTO THE FREEFALL!
ONE! TWO! THREE!
The third consecutive victory for Killjoy and High Flyer IV! Until OnlyFlips runs down to ringside with Liz Icarus right behind! They blitz High Flyer IV with a double superkick, then one for Killjoy… but he shakes it off! They duck under a double clothesline, then fire a double superkick… then another to the knee! Then another and he finally goes over the top rope! Both men take flight with a running cross into a double springboard moonsault to the outside, the Mid-Air Collab!
Lee Laz lands Laz Rising (springboard diamond dust) on High Flyer IV, but he kicks out! High Flyer gets a roll-up for two, then tries to reach out to tag the rising Killjoy, but Kenny Yi LEAPS high into a springboard suicide dive to wipe out the monster! Lee Laz gets a Japanese leg roll clutch on High Flyer IV… ONE! TWO! THREE!
THE MONSTER UPSET HAPPENS! ONLYFLIPS ELIMINATES LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES!
High Flyer IV is in shock, but Killjoy comes back and DROPS Kenny Yi with a chokeslam on the outside on the apron before leaving! High Flyer IV hits a low blow on Lee Laz and they depart… but BIG Trouble is coming their way.
No, literally. The last team being BIG Trouble. The 7’4” Big Aug and the 6’4” and 309-pound Big Kahuna Ali’i!
Kenny Yi is already down on the outside and Big Aug makes sure he stays down with a ramming shoulder block right into the barricade! Big Kahuna Ali’i cockily slaps Lee Laz around, but Lee fights back! He slaps Ali’i across the face, then hits a leaping knee strike! He gets stunned but when he hits the ropes, Ali’i catches him with a big black hole slam! Ali’i then climbs to the top rope…
BIG KAHUNA SPLASH!
Big Kahuna Ali’i pins Laz.
ONE! TWO! THREE!
WINNERS: BIG Trouble @ 26:55 via pinfall, last eliminating OnlyFlips to win the gauntlet.
With LET destroying OnlyFlips after their upset loss, Big Aug and Big Kahuna Ali’i picked the bones and now pose in the ring, giving BIG Trouble a massive win and control of a future BRAZEN Tag Team Championship match whenever they want it!
BRAZEN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS: NEW RAIN CITY RONIN (Zack Daymon and Leo Burnett) vs. TECH GIANTS (Uriel Cortez and Dan Leo James)
Since winning the BRAZEN Tag Team Titles from Les Enfants Terribles, The NEW Rain City Ronin have turned back all challenges, made numerous appearances on DEFIANCE Television and have been overall successful, but tonight may be their toughest test to date. Their challengers have been undefeated in BRAZEN and are setting a path right at the titles.
The Tech Giants - a rare DEFIANCE/BRAZEN team of decorated tag team wrestler Uriel Cortez along with BRAZEN rising star Dan Leo James look to make history as only the second DEFIANCE/BRAZEN combo after The Biggest Best Boys (Dex Joy and Nathan Eye) to win the gold. Rain City Ronin want to shatter the current record held by The DEFCepticons of 206 days as longest Tag Team Champions, but only one team tonight will get what they want.
The challengers come out first and the crowd give them some MAJOR love! Despite Uriel Cortez’s questionable relationship issues with Titaness and Minute being picked off by Cerberus last week, he has to shut that out and focus on this match. The 6’7” rookie Dan Leo James comes out and they are ready for action. The NEW Rain City Ronin arrive next and the War Memorial Auditorium go nuts for the fighting champions! Uriel and Dan both shake hands with the challengers, but tonight there’s no friends when the titles are on the line.
Dan Leo James starts with Leo Burnett and when Leo tries to go low, James takes Leo to the mat with his amateur wrestling prowess, throwing him on the mat and ragdolling him to his heart’s content. The crowd cheer James when he shakes Burnett up and then dumps him over with a front suplex slam for a two-count. When he tries another slam, Leo slips out and tags Zack Daymon, but when he gets in, the son of Rocky Daymon wants Uriel Cortez. The Titan of Industry climbs into the ring and obliges.
Daymon tries to go right at Uriel with kicks to the leg, forearms to the head and then a dropkick… but Uriel bounces back and drops him with a big elbow in return. He tries one of the famous chops on Daymon, but Zack ducks and then nails a leaping calf kick that staggers Uriel…
THWACK!
And in return, one STIFF open-handed chop from Uriel Cortez changes the game! Uriel grabs Zack Daymon and holds him up before Dan Leo James tags in and goes up top…
BIG TECH AIR!
A 6’7” missile dropkick to the chest does not feel good, either and when Dan Leo James tries the cover…
KICKOUT!
Daymon gets a chop from Dan Leo James, then Uriel tags… and THWACK! Another chop from Uriel! Daymon gets dropped hard. Tag to Dan Leo James who hits a big scoop slam into the mat! Then a second one! The tag goes to Uriel Cortez and The Titan of Industry holds Daymon up… he holds it… holds it… holds it… then a delayed body slam from the seven footer! The tag to Dan Leo James who goes to work with a high and tight boston crab! Daymon’s back has been pummeled, but when the referee asks if he wants to give up, he yells out no! He crawls to the ropes… and makes it!
Dan Leo James has him on the shoulders, but before he can hit Cutting Edge Tech, Daymon rolls him up with a crucifix for two! He kicks out, but gets a running knee strike to the face from Daymon! Then Daymon makes the hot tag to Burnett! Burnett goes wild on James with clotheslines from every which way, but doesn’t go down until he ducks under one from James and comes back with a running low dropkick to the knee! He hobbles him to the corner and hits a series of big running elbow smashes to the corner!
Daymon gets a tag in and though his back is smarting, he runs and hits the corner elbow smasehs as well! Both men take turns working over James until they connect with a double leaping DDT on James! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!
Now the champs are in control and the work over a rising James with a double running low angle boot and then a pair of flipping sentons. Uriel needs to get in to make the hot tag, but the Rain City Ronin now work to keep James down and away from his partner. They keep him grounded and Daymon hits a double knee drop off the top, but only gets two! Daymon has him where he wants him and tries a leaping reverse STO… but James pushes him away and when he comes back, he catches him with a spinning belly to belly suplex!
The crowd cheers for the DEFIANCE star Uriel Cortez with his arm out as James inches to the corner… and makes it!
The Titan of Industry runs in and drops both Burnette an Daymon with clotheslines! He throws Daymon into one corner, then Burnett for the other! The packed house cheers for the monolith running with splashes in the corner for each one and then Uriel biels Daymon right into his own partner! Uriel picks up Burnett and then SMACKS him with a double chop to the chest called the Chop of Ages, then goes for the cover!
ONE! TWO!
Daymon with a low dropkick for the save!
Uriel gets stunned, but Dan Leo James makes the tag! He climbs in and he nails the Cutting Edge Tech driver on Daymon!
ONE!
TWO!
THR… KICKOUT!
Daymon kicks out of the finisher of Dan Leo James and the BRAZEN Faithful are in shock! Dan Leo James pulls him up again, but Burnett saves his partner! When Uriel tries to save him, Zack Daymon hits a inside springboard dropkick to knock him off the apron! Dan Leo James tries to get up… but eats a DOUBLE leaping Reverse STO from both members of the Rain City Ronin! Burnett makes the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
WINNERS: The Rain City Ronin @ 16:41 via pinfall with Double leaping reverse STO, retain BRAZEN Tag Team Championships!
After the match, a disappointed Uriel Cortez climbs into the ring while Dan Leo James nurses a sore jaw. After the champions are given back their titles, Uriel raises the arms of both of the Rain City Ronin, then Dan Leo James does so as well in the name of good sportsmanship before the four men leave the ring. With the toughest challenge they have had yet, the Rain City Ronin are closer to achieving their gold of becoming the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in BRAZEN history!
BRAZEN CHAMPIONSHIP: "ONE SHOT" JACK HALCYON (C) vs. DECLAN ALEXANDER VS. BIGBOSS BATTS
We have reached the main event of the first CLASH of the BRAZEN to hit the road outside home base that is NOLA. Tonight, Jack Halcyon looks to defend his championship in an elimination match against both Declan Alexander, the winner of the Golden Opportunity Battle Royal and the previous champion, BIGBOSS Batts. Batts' stable, BIG Trouble laid claim to winning the Golden Opportunity Tag Gauntlet and tonight, Batts looks to become BRAZEN Champion again Declan Alexander hopes to finally make good on becoming the face of BRAZEN after being one of its top performers for two years.
Batts enters first, without either BIG Aug or Big Kahuna Ali’i. The man who was once the top of BRAZEN has turned into a raging Napoleon complex-ridden asshole. Thanks to a rule from BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment, ALL parties were barred from ringside to guarantee no shenanigans in the first main event on the road. Declan Alexander out next to a HUGE ovation from the crowd as he vlogs while heading to the ring. The DEC4LLION are out in full force! Last is the defending champion, "One Shot" Jack Halcyon! He holds up the title for both men to see before referee Benny Doyle is out for the occasion.
The bell rings with all three circling up. BIGBOSS Batts shoves the face of Halcyon, then that of Declan, then yells at both that he should be the champion… Declan and Jack shove him away! Then Halcyon with a clothesline to Declan! And when Batts gets back up, a belly to back suplex for him followed by a cover! But a two-count! Then all three men get into the exchange and try and roll each other up, for close two-counts! Unlike the opening match, there would be nobody breaking up covers to earn falls. In this main event, two men would fall and one would be the BRAZEN Champion!
Batts with a backslide on Declan for two, followed by Declan rolling up into one of his own for two! Halcyon with a dropkick to the mouth of Batts, but Declan right in… YEET! Tossing Halcyon across the ring with a big body throw! He rushes over and covers… for two!
The DEC4ALLION cheer on the wrestler/gamer as he focuses right on Batts in the corner with a running knife-edge chop, then one across the ring for Halcyon! He pulls Halcyon out of the corner and hits a big neckbreaker, but before he can cover, BIGBOSS leaps at him with a running jumping senton! Batts wipes the proverbial dirt off his shoulder, then runs and hits one on Halcyon, but only gets a two-count! Batts stomps on both men and then starts telling the crowd that the ring belongs to him and BIG Trouble!
Batts continues to stomp away at Declan and peppers him with stiff round kicks to the midsection before launching him to the corner. He runs at him, but Declan gets the foot up to block… but Halcyon is behind him and catches Declan with a monkey flip… into a STIFF kick by Batts! He tries a cover, but Declan kicks out! Halcyon stuns him with a dropkick that knocks Batts through the ropes! Declan rushes at Halcyon when he gets up, but gets a back body drop over the ropes to the floor on Batts. Both men are down outside the ring and the gutsy One Shot heads to the top rope before DIVING off the top rope with a rolling senton onto both Declan and BIGBOSS on the floor!
Halcyon gets a massive ovation from the crowd before the talented underdog slides Declan back into the ring for a two-count. He tries to get Declan up and he reverses an Olympic Slam into a hip toss! Declan back into it with a big side russian leg sweep just as Batts comes back in with a big springboard dropkick! Batts tries to steal the cover, but only gets another two-count off the champion. Batts tries to rush at Declan and gets a YEET! As well right into a flapjack! And a two-count off that!
Every man tries to steal pinfalls where they can in a match where two people need to be eliminated and the crowd loves it! Halcyon comes back and surprises Declan with a standing hurricanrana! ONE! TWO! But Declan kicks out and then reverses that! ONE! TWO!
Then Batts jumps in and tries to steal the pin there!
ONE! TWO! But both Declan and Halcyon shove the former BRAZEN Champ away! But as Declan and Halcyon trade shots, Batts comes right back and hits a leaping knee strike to Halcyon, but Declan tries Play of the Game… no! He gets shoved off! He ducks a move… then Batts swings through the ropes with a tiger feint into a discus lariat on Declan!
ONE! TWO! THR-NO!
The Faithful are following every single move, but cheering on Declan when he kicks out of the cover! But when he sees Halcyon coming to, he sneaks up behind him and HOISTS him up with deadlift right into a bridging German!
ONE! TWO!
Declan sneaks in the back door with a jackknife!
ONE! TWO!
KICKOUT!
Halcyon gets up and then clips the leg of Declan with a dropkick before locking in the On-Tilt! He has hit… then Batts locks in the Goliath Birdeater! Both submissions on Declan Alexander!
