Sitting down next to each other but looking in opposite directions are JJ Dixon and Caitlyn Kinsey. It is very clear there is tension between the two of them as they are loudly speaking to each other but neither can’t be heard.

Jamie Sawyers then comes into frame like she’s covering breaking news from a very urgent, dark tragedy that America would forget about in 72 hours.

Jamie Sawyers here at Cleveland University Hospital with breaking news. I managed to get an update on the conditions of Tabitha Kinsey and The Company Men, Brayden “Dubya” Leverington and Cristiano Caballero, after they were rushed here after the attack by Your Uncut Gems just hours ago.

Jamie hears something in her earpiece and nods.

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news that Tabitha Kinsey has received over two dozen stitches to her face and will need some major crown work on her upper teeth. This was a result from a punch that came from Teri Melton while wearing Tabitha’s wedding ring. We’ve heard from medical staff here at the hospital that if the punch was 1/8th of an inch in one direction, it would have directly contacted one of Ms. Kinsey’s eyes and could have led to permanent blindness. And less than an inch in the other direction, it could have resulted in major damage to multiple cranial bones. We’ve heard it described as a “minor miracle” that Tabitha was able to avoid major damage. Doctors also initially were concerned about a possible concussion, but Tabitha’s repeated threats of lawsuits and the potential withdrawal of her estate’s funding to the hospital’s charitable foundation convinced them she was cognitively sound.

A worried Caitlyn comes up to Jamie, as JJ looks perplexed and follows her.

Caitlyn Kinsey:
Hey, Jamie... have you heard anything about Dubya? Oh, and, uhm, Cristiano, too?

Jamie nods as she hears something in her earpiece.

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news about the status of The Company Men. Both Cristiano and Dubya are showing some concussion symptoms, but doctors don’t believe either man will miss too much time. In addition, both men received multiple bruises to their ribs, neck and elsewhere on their bodies. Cristiano suffered the worst of the injuries, as he’s also received a contusion on his throat, which will limit his ability to speak for at least a week.

Caitlyn breathes a noticeable sigh of relief.

Caitlyn Kinsey:
Thank god... I’m so glad they’re okay.

JJ Dixon:
I’m glad that Cristiano has to keep his mouth shut for a few weeks.

Caitlyn shoots him a real dirty look. Jamie, ever the broadcast journalist, steps behind the bickering couple.

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news about a brewing argument between young lovers JJ Dixon and Caitlyn Kinsey.

They do not hear her. 

Caitlyn Kinsey:
Why’s that? Is that what you talked to Teri about when you called her?

JJ Dixon:
No. I told you already - I just left a message! I wanted to see how she was doing after what your grandmother did to her! And why do you care so much about how Dubya’s doing? What, you don’t think I’ve seen you two talking?

Caitlyn Kinsey:
Come on, JJ. I told you I don’t like him. I just... well, nobody deserves to get attacked like that! Your friends shouldn’t have done that!

JJ Dixon:
Yeah, they should have -- those guys tried to take them out!

Caitlyn Kinsey:
And my grandmother deserves that, too?

Before JJ can answer, we see a panicked Aurora Kaye walk into the scene, as Jamie continues to hover in the background.

Aurora Kaye:
Hey, sorry I got here so late... I heard Mom’s okay?

Caitlyn Kinsey:
Yeah, but what do you care? You hate her.

Aurora Kaye:
Hey! Come on, I told you already... Just because we don’t get along doesn’t mean I hate her. She’s still my mom!  And your grandmother!

Caitlyn Kinsey:
And where were you, anyways? You sprinted down to save Raiden and JP but nothing when those guys attacked Dubya and Cristiano?

JJ steps in and tries to get Caitlyn to calm down.

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news that Aurora was meeting with certain leading shareholders about discussing a potential place on the DEFIANCE roster and a future match on Uncut! Aurora Kaye, once a rising star in east coast independent promotions, has not wrestled in several years.

Aurora Kaye:
Hey, how did you know that?

There's an awkward pause between JJ, Caitlyn and Aurora.

I have breaking news that JJ's last comment may also serve as a metaphor about the perilous relationships betewen multiple parties focused around he and Caitlyn's burgeoning love story.

JJ, Caitlyn and Aurora do not even flinch.

Aurora Kaye:
Come on, guys. Let’s just get out of here. I think The Cheesecake Factory’s still open.

JJ Dixon:
Oh, uhm, I can’t go to the one here. 

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news. I can report that several months ago, Teri Melton lured an executive from failed cryptocurrency brokerage FTX on a date to the Cleveland-area Cheesecake Factory under the guise of being interested in issuing a cat-focused NFT in addition to sexual intercourse. JJ Dixon then arrived, pretending to be a hopeful Eagle Scout who needed a large donation in order to fund a new summer camp for wayward orphans. Teri and JJ were able to receive a sizable amount of cash, not cryptocurrency, from the FTX cretin, which they then used to purchase extravagant clothing, jewelry and a 2022 ivory white Bentley Continental GT, later selling all of those goods on the black market and make a sizable donation to an existing summer camp for wayward teens. Also, Teri and the FTX executive did not have sex, which is also breaking news to everyone.

JJ Dixon:
Hey, how did you know all of that?

Jamie Sawyers:
Teri tells me everything.

Before anyone else can say anything

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news that you and Teri also arranged to have your first in-person meeting at a nearby diner in the next few days. 

Caitlyn Kinsey:
Wait, what the hell?

JJ Dixon:
Literally, this is news to me. But, yeah... I guess we should talk things out.

Caitlyn rolls her eyes at this announcement. Aurora ushers the two of them out there.

Jamie Sawyers:
I have breaking news that we are about to watch the best scene in The Outsiders, even though for some reason it's the Telemundo broadcast, and it could perhaps serve as another metaphor for this tangle webbed being weaved before out eyes!

The camera then closes in on the TV monitor for the climactic scene of The Outsiders, albeit in Spanish.
