RUMOR MILL: Champion close to inking deal with DEF?

Rumor has it that a current champion from a well known promotion is very close to signing a contract with DEFIANCE.
After doing some prying within the talent relations department about the identity of this potential signee, we walked away with only minor details. All we were able to confirm is that the individual is a second generation superstar, who only just began competing in North America this past year. Negotiations have been ongoing over the past couple weeks, and it's believed that the only holdup at this point is the superstars immediate availability due to an overseas tour with his current promotion.
There is hope internally within the company that a deal can be struck sooner as opposed to later, potentially seeing this superstar debut as soon as early/mid November.
