NEW RULING ON DEFCON ACE of DEFIANCE - Saturday Night Street Fight
The former Saturday Night Specials will have to keep their tempers under control leading into the big show in the Big Easy.
Pat Cassidy’s current probationary status and actions at the DEFy awards have put the Favored Saints in quite the pickle: not only does he hold the ACE, but now they’ve got what is undoubtedly a match with high fan investing booked for DEFCON.
Today, DEFIANCE officials ruled that there is to be no physicality whatsoever between Pat Cassidy and Brock Newbludd before their match at DEFCON. Should they violate this agreement (regardless of who is the aggressor), Pat Cassidy will be immediately released from his contract and Brock Newbludd will be suspended for an entire year without pay.
With two months to go until DEFIANCE’s biggest show of the year, one has to imagine adhering to his ruling might prove difficult for the former best friends turned bitter enemies.
