SuperDEFFan64 Title Talk!
BRAZEN Onslaught Title: We have a NEW Onslaught Champion and it’s the undefeated blue chipper Ryan Murdock! The two men put on what was described as the Match of the Night by a roaring crowd that came to see their big boys fight over the title! Payne jumped Murdock at the bell and the two fought all along the audience and the crowd. The action was taken back towards the ring with Payne powerslamming Murdock through a table! But the Big Bois kept fighting! Murdock suplexed Payne all over the ring with multiple release German suplexes before tackling him right through the barricade back outside! Payne became the first person to kick out of a Route 202 big boot! But moments later, Murdock would do the same when Payne’s Stay Down powerslam resulted in another two-count! THIS IS AWESOME THIS IS AWESOME! But a second attempt at Stay Down was countered when Ryan elbowed his way out and then SMACKED him with a second match-winning kick for Murdock to win!
When asked about the title loss, Payne simply shoved an interviewer down and then walked off with Ed White and Associates in his limo without a word to anyone. But needless to say…
This won’t be the last BRAZEN hears of the Blood Diamonds.
BRAZEN Tag Team Titles: Who is going to stop the Amazing Amarettos? This time, they took on the former BRAZEN Tag Team Champions, The DEFcepticons. And again? Same result! STILL your BRAZEN Tag Team Champions! The Amarettos got batted around early by the BRAZEN favorites, but some magic and sleight of hand (aka one pair of brass knuckles out of a hat) led to the magicians! But announced at the next Double Shot, a special Tag Team Gauntlet with six teams will take place with the winning team earning the next shot at the Amazing Amarettos!
BRAZEN Women’s Championship: It was a great night for El Escuadron. Mil Vueltas was absent from the show attending a presser for upcoming events with OSCAR BURNS, leaving DLJ with Bonita en Rosa I and II. Champion Bonita en Rosa I retained her title over a veteran star, Sarah Winterton with a great submission-based battle ending with Bonita I raking the eyes and then using her Kiss From A Rose submission to earn the tapout victory! News below on Bonita’s next contender!
BRAZEN Star Cup: Just days before he is set to make his DEFIANCE debut for Tag Party with “Fair Play” Dabney Doubleday, Edgar (w/SCARY ASS PUPPET LARRY!) successfully defended the BRAZEN Star Cup against hungry young star Sun-Twist Skylar! Skylar dominated Edgar physically for most of the match, but with some creative thinking and a distraction towards the end, Edgar threw Larry at Skylar, forcing him to instinctively catch it! Then leading himself wide open for a superkick and then Cut the Strings for the only fall of the match and the win! BRAZEN’s first wrestling ventriloquist continues to make waves and holds on to his Cup!
SuperDEFScoops!
--Rumors through the grapevine are that The Blood Diamonds are NOT happy with what they feel is the deck being stacked against “The Problem Solver” Adrian Payne, being forced to defend his championship against the tournament winner Ryan Murdock! Rumors of “retribution” have been floating around. Given it’s The Blood Diamonds, it won’t be anything good, I’m sure. BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment has said he doesn’t care what kind of influence Ed White THINKS he has, but will do everything in his power as BRAZEN’s chief authority figure to ensure that things will proceed, even with BRAZEN Champion Felton Bigsby in their camp.
--On that front, Bigsby was rumored to have no-showed the BRAZEN Single Shot on the grounds that he didn’t feel like a worthy challenger had been produced that could take his title. Cappy has promised that whoever his next challenger will be, they will have earned it. Plans are also underway for a special gauntlet match to take place on the main event of Night Two of the next Double Shot including both former BRAZEN champions and top contenders. Capital Punishment has also noted that work stoppage will equal check stoppage if Bigsby no-shows another event. Sounds like the lines are being drawn!
--The BRAZEN Women’s Division has boasted some physical athletes and two more have come through! Ten-year independent veteran Callie “Scrapper” Scott has signed on the dotted line to be a part of the rising BRAZEN Women’s Division. Boasting her deadly judo background, Callie is ready to throw people of all shapes and sizes around. And not to mention, the signing of TRAIN Zanzhu! Tearing up rings all across Japan, the tank-like TRAIN has a love of kendo sticks and an even bigger love of brutality (SuperDEFFan64’s Note: I’m here for it!). These two ladies will be added to the division that is already heating up, even with the likes of former champions Ophelia Sykes and Jocelyne Ingrid Blythe on maternity leave!
--As a preview of Tag Party VI, three of the twelve teams were in attendance! Punch Drunk Purcell made a return to BRAZEN to team with former BRAZEN Star Cup holder and one of the few people to hold a victory over Felton Bigsby - “The Hound” Aiden Harlow! The two men made very quick work of The Dunson Clan! Elsewhere in action, their opponents, the El Escuadron team of DLJ and Bonita en Rosa II defeated Aerial Artist members Wes and Jess The Wrestling Statues! Following in the foot steps of his “hermano” Mil Vueltas’ victory at DEF Road, DLJ looks to bring home the Tag Party trophy in the event that got him his spot on the main roster in 2022! Meanwhile, The Dasher Sibs make history as the first-ever all-BRAZEN tandem, scored a tag team win in triple threat action!
--The war between Los Caidos and top stars of BRAZEN continue, this time with Vacio and Gerardo Villalobos scoring the win over feuding rivals, BIGBOSS Batts and Leon Van Zandt joining forces! Vacio has promised that he and Los Caidos are still the top force to be reckoned with in BRAZEN! And with that, they have challenged Batts, LVZ and Jack Halcyon to an eight-man street fight with any partner of their choosing against Los Caidos! That match will kick off the next BRAZEN Double Shot! Who do they have in mind to help with their 4-on-3 disadvantage?
Thank you for checking out this recap! We will be back on Friday for Tag Party VI! And a special announcement about Yours Truly should also be coming out some time today in the next couple of days!
