I had a change of heart. Don’t get it twisted I’m still going to break your face off with my right knee, but I’m going to do it strictly on a business level. It was personal when I was riding with MSX; I was angry, you injured someone who I thought was a friend.

[Penn in his white t-shirts and pressed black slacks strokes his man beard.]

Penn:
Truth be told… I don’t know too much about you either, besides that you won Defiance’s World Title when I wasn’t here, that you rode Andrew’s coattails your entire career, and that you enjoy hurting people.  So here we are, you don’t know shit about me and I don’t know too much about you, so where does that leave us.

[Pause.]

Penn:
You don’t like me and I don’t give a damn about you.  You see I’m all about stepping out of the shadow that was cast by my former mentor.

[Recall last promo he was not going to mention Mike’s name again.]

[He folds his hands into his lap and leans forward.]

Penn:
See Heidi, I don’t care if you piss sitting or standing, that’s not an issue. My issue stands as it has always been you’re a wrestler… I’m a fighter. You’re cute in your little gi and training bra practicing something that I’ve been proficient in since I was 9 years old. Heidi I break people with my hands, elbows, knees, and feet.  I’ll twist you in ways that you have only wished that Jeff would have put you in. Why? Because it’s what I do, I don’t ‘rassle, I fight. Fights get ugly, there’s blood, broken bones, and all manner of shit that ‘rasslers don’t know that come out of bodies when they are severely hurt. Heidi… I fight. If you want to ‘rassle someone go find Tom, Alceo, or even one of those Faygo loving faggots from the last decade because I do not get scared if I see a little blood.  

[He reaches up and strokes his beard.]

Penn:
So while you’re scurrying around full of angst  about what Dane is going to do with you and if Jeffro is going to be your white knight and save your bony ass from Dane all I’m doing is laughing at you. You’re still loyal to the Untouchables and where are they now Heidi? Where were they when the Brute Squad was tazing you for the fun of the crowd? Heidi… you’re going to learn, just like I did, that you’ll do better on your own. That no one is going to have your back when you need it the most. You’ll be better off watching your own back when you’re not watching someone else’s back.

I don’t have to waste my time worrying about if my partners can hold their own. I know that I can hold my own in a fight, in that ring, and backstage. Running for help is something that I have never done before… I don’t care what type of shit storm I’ve scared up… I’ve taken my lumps Heidi and I’ve made a full return on every check that my mouth has ever written. 

You want to embarrass me Heidi, go ahead and try, because it will never amount to the embarrassment that I suffered looking up to a guy who was truly using me while I thought we were friends. 

[He leans back into his seat.]
