Tucker G. Alston:
So it comes to this. One final match. One final chance… at Chance.

Everything over the last several months has built up for this one last match. Everything that has been said, every vile thing that he has spewed has built up for this one moment. The final match between myself and Chance. Everything on the line. Nothing left to question. One final match.

A lot has been said over the last couple of months. There really isn’t anything new to say. There are no surprises. For months I have studied this man. I have prepared to face this man. There is nothing more to do. It all ends at Ascension.

Finally, Chance will get what he deserves. He will get put in his place and he will pay for everything he has said over the last couple of months. He will get his punishment, his penance. He will lose his Southern Heritage title at Ascension. And the best part about it all? Well, I get to be the one that does that to him.

Sure Chance took another step towards superstardom winning the clusterfuck main event at the last show. He got the pin against some of the best this business has. Sure Chance has defended his title every time it’s been put on the line, and he’s done so cleanly each time. Sure Chance has beaten me in every match we’ve been in together. The battle royal, the tag matches, the two title shots I’ve had. He’s beaten me every single time.

I know that history is not on my side. I know that there is nothing that I can point to that will prove what I’m saying right now. There is no good news for me to rally against. There is no silver lining. There is nothing I can show that will make people change their minds. And yet… I know I will beat Chance at Ascension for the Southern Heritage championship.

I say this because I am going to be the man in the match that is the most prepared. I am going to be the man in the match that has trained the hardest. That has studied every match between us over the last couple of months. I am going to be the man in the match that is the most determined to win. With the biggest drive. With the will to win.

These are not qualities that Chance possesses. He’s not driven. He doesn’t study the sport. He doesn’t have that drive. He’s none of that. He’s a man that has skated by in life and has managed to get to where he is on god given talent. He’s lucky. And luck eventually runs out. And it will run out at Ascension.

When the bell rings to start our match, I will be more prepared for it than anything that has ever come before me in my life. I will be ready for anything that could happen, and I will overcome it all. This match between us should be easy for me. It should be one that I could tell you move for move how it’ll play out. It should go down exactly as I have seen it in my mind every single night. And yet, I have no idea what is going to happen. If it were just you and me Chance, It’d be easy. It’d be quick.

But its not.

There is an X factor in this match. Of course. The two of us in the ring one on one for the third time is just not sexy enough for a pay per view. No. There needs to be something more to it. There needs to be something new. Something that’ll make the fans go, ooooh I need to see that. And that’s exactly what is happening here.

Sam Turner. The father of your child Chance. The man from the other side of the bridge down in Harlan. A man that you don’t like to admit has been your equal since high school. Compared every step of the way. The two Harlan boys that made something of themselves in the world of wrestling. What a story. What a feud. What a rivalry. And yet, it’s not Chance verses Sam on the pay per view for the Southern Heritage Championship. That’s not enough for everyone. They needed me in that match as well.

When you think about it, it makes sense. Harlan just doesn’t have that big city feel to it. And so doesn’t those from that town. The two Harlan boys brawling it out in the ring just doesn’t have enough to it to excite people. Hell, you even have a bastard child involved. A love triangle. The ultimate insult. And yet, here we are. A three way match with me shoved right in the middle of it all.

And why would that be? I’ve lost to Chance in every match I’ve ever lost. But I’ve beaten Sam Turner in every match we’ve been in. And Sam has… well, Sam has fucked your girlfriend Chance. So here we are. The three of us. In one final match for the Southern Heritage championship. There must be a winner. There must be a champion.

And as I’ve said before. It will be me.

Failure is not an option.
