Mathias is at the gym working out with his personal trainer, Codee.

Codee:
So, what’s new? Haven’t seen you in a while. Are you still taking those vitamins I told you about?

Mathias nods with a cheeky smile breaking across his face as he settles into the leg extension machine.

Codee:
You know, your workouts are only as potent as your attitude towards fitness, Mathias.

Mathias:
I know, I know.

He brushes Codee off with friendly flair as he begins working his quadricep muscles through leg curls.

Codee:
It’s something else, isn’t it? You won’t tell me? What’s going on?

Mathias tries to focus on his breathing but can’t with Codee down his throat. Codee is more than just a personal trainer, he’s been a good friend to Mathias for a long time.

Mathias:
Look.

He stops his exercise to look at Codee.

Mathias:
It’s nothing, really. Just been frustrated lately. Gotta focus on my workout. It’s great stress relief.

Mathias continues with his reps. Codee doesn’t look too impressed, so he walks over to Mathias’ gym bag and pulls out his client’s phone.

Codee:
Here.

Codee tosses Mathias the phone.

Codee:
Text your wife. Tell her you miss her.

Mathias clutches the phone as he stares at Codee, knowing he’s right.
