Chaz and Codee just stare at each other until Codee looks around, makes sure the coast is clear and waves Chaz over to the locker room entrance. Chaz follows his personal trainer.

Chaz:
What’s up?

Codee:
I just think we need to be very conscious about where we talk and who we talk to about this rather delicate subject until we know what’s going on.

The two look around with very suspicious looks on their faces.

Codee:
So, let’s recount this.

Chaz:
Yes. Let’s do that.

Codee folds his arms as his body language suggests he’s not happy.

Codee:
So, I know Mathias. You know Sara. Apparently Sara knows Mathias but I know he’s married to Teresa. Do you know Teresa?

Chaz swings his head negatively.

Chaz:
Nah. I only know Sara because we work together at the hospital. She told me about how you are the personal trainer for her boyfriend, Mathias. Something doesn’t quite add up here.

As if it isn’t obvious enough, Mathias, of all people, walks up to the pair.

Mathias:
Codee! Hey! I know I’m early but are you ready for your two o’clock? Looking forward to blasting my glutes today.

Mathias’ glance lingers over to Chaz.

Mathias:
Hi there. Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize you were still with a client. I’m Mathias, nice to meet you.

Chaz shakes the man’s hand.

Chaz:
Do you know Sara by chance?

Puzzlement overcomes Mathias’ face at the words that slip out of Chaz’s mouth but Codee quickly goes into damage control mode by intervening and pulling Mathias away.

Codee:
Yeah, all good that you came early, Mathias! Let’s get to our workout! Thanks for stopping by, Chaz, it was nice to meet you! See you next time.
