Title Talk

BRAZEN Championship: For this installment, we focus on the next contender to Felton Bigsby’s BRAZEN Championship: And that’s now FORMER Team HOSS member Angel Trinidad! The 6’10” monster won a one-night tournament by knocking off former BRAZEN Champion Victor Vacio while “The Hound” Aiden Harlow defeated another former BRAZEN Champion in BIGBOSS Batts to get to the finals. Harlow tried to overcome the monstrous Angel by attacking the knees during their match in the finals and locked in The Muzzle crossface, but Angel’s power was too much! It was Angel who would win the day with his new finisher, the Tall Order, a brutal michinoku driver! Angel, shockingly, shook the hand of Aiden Harlow after the match! Angel was recently hired among BRAZEN in a player-coach role after several impressive showings from Tag Party VI when he made it to the finals and appears to have turned over a new leaf, promising he will take the BRAZEN Championship from Felton Bigsby! 

BRAZEN Tag Team Titles: The Amazing Amarettos defeated a main roster team in Gentlemen’s Agreement with a little sleight of hand! Though The Rezistance seems to be falling apart with Rezin now in the Honor Society as TA Black, The Amarettos continue their winnin ways! And while Angel Trinidad earned a title shot against Felton Bigsby, the current BRAZEN Champion teamed with his regular tag partner, former BRAZEN Onslaught Champion “Problem Solver” Adrian Payne and they are your NEW #1 Contenders! After winning a six-team gauntlet, Money Talks have a chance to capitalize on their recent main roster exposure to capture more good and bring it to The Blood Diamonds! 

BRAZEN Onslaught Champion: The new BRAZEN Onslaught Champion and the first-ever Tourna-MEAT of Champions winner Ryan Murdock made his first successful defense of what could be many against the inaugural BRAZEN Onslaught Champion Gerardo Villalobos after a hard-fought fight! But there’s no rest for the weary as the next Double Shot, another former BRAZEN Onslaught Champion, Lord Sewell defeated Leyenda de Ocho and earned a shot to reclaim the title! Ryan Murdock has accepted the challenge! Ryan Murdock and what has become his signature Route 202 running big boot look to run through more opponents, but will Lord Sewell have a gameplan?

BRAZEN Women’s Championship: The overall success of El Escuadron is on all levels! With DLJ bringing the Favoured Saints title to the group and the GC Universe as it is, Bonita en Rosa I retained her title against the brawler “Ten of Hearts” Rachel Tennison with a loaded glove, taking something from boyfriend Mil Vueltas’ bag of tricks! But things were mixed as Brooklynn Rivera is coming to claim the title! Rivera defeated Bonita en Rosa II and handed her her first loss! The Bonitas have been ducking Brooklynn for the longest time, but it appears that she won’t stop until the title is hers at last! 

BRAZEN Star Cup: BRAZEN’s favorite wrestling ventriloquist (and SCARIEST-ASS PUPPET LARRY™) strike again! Edgar retained his title against the brawler, Thomas Slaine one-fall to zero to retain the Cup! But already, he has a couple names knocking on his door. The Texan brawler Gordy Lovett, “The Professional” Leon Van Zandt and “The Young Bull” Tate Newell were some of the names I’ve heard under consideration to challenger for the Cup! The young future of BRAZEN continues to be bright, thought that damm puppet still scares me about as much as Count Novick… HE’S A DAMN VAMPIRE!

--Tag Party VI member Rowzilla stood tall alongside Max Luck! And has earned the ire of the ex-brother-in-law of Mason and Max, Mark “Fire” Luckfeeling that Rowzilla stole a golden opportunity to team with family that don’t like him much! Two of the largest men within BRAZEN took the battle to each other, but didn’t last long in the ring before ending in a double countout! The two men fought all over BRAZEN Studios and had to have their fight broken up by DEFSec, even forcing BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment to get involved! This won’t be the last we see of these two! 

--Team HOSS have gone their separate ways! Angel Trinidad’s Double Shot was covered earlier, but Aleczander The Great promises that he’s going to do his own thing and has already called out BRAZEN Onslaught Champion Ryan Murdock! Aleczander scored an impressive submission win and while Angel looks to fight on the straight and narrow, Aleczander continues to be the cocky jerk he has always been in DEFIANCE!

--”Fair Play” Dabney Doubleday continues to turn heads in BRAZEN, defeating former BRAZEN Onslaught Champion “Mellow Yellow” George Othello in a great technical bout… but the shocking aftermath was… well, SHOCKING! Fair Play went for a handshake and he was given one, only for Othello to kick him with a low blow! Othello for the first time in his BRAZEN career, turned to the dark size. Thought to be a prodigy by OSCAR BURNS (then-known as Oscar Burns a few years ago) Othello is tired of being nice! He was abandoned by his mentor, but Othello is now going to forge his own path! The Welshman promised he wasn’t gonna be mellow any more!

--Former BRAZEN Champion Nick “Lotto” Otto has increased his operations! With some lottery winnings he’s invested and turned into extra disposable income, Otto has paid for the return of BRAZEN members Hurtlocker Holt and Emilio Byrd, now going by Bash 4 Cash! The grudge between Otto and Midas Mancini that was rumored to be over earlier this year is heating up again! Otto never forgot about being defeated by Otto in a rare BRAZEN Steel Cage match and now has sworn revenge! His squeaky-clean empire (Otto’s words, not mine) will stop at nothing to be rid of Midas Mancini and Getaway Jones, along with anyone committing crimes in BRAZEN! 

--The BRAZEN Women’s division continues to blossom in a big way! HurriJane defeated “The Piano Woman” Brenda Renetti to settle their months-long feud in a brutal No DQ match ending with a senton bomb called Eye of the HurriJane through a table! The Japanese star, TRAIN Zanshu took out another victim in Magdalena and attacked her wildly with a kendo stick after the match! The enigmatic Ms. Massacre continued her win streak while the debut of “The Tank Girl” Eva Vandegaar garnered attention quickly with sheer power on her side! The talent of the women continues to grow with every show!

--The former three-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer, Aury Phillips, scored his first win in BRAZEN with an implant DDT called Troubled Waters! Aury promised gold came naturally to him and that no champion was safe when he gets on a win streak!
