Biography
After starting his wrestling career in a place no one in Defiance has ever heard of, Long ended up in the CAL circles, where he formed a friendship with Jeff Andrews. For the better part of a decade, Long was scorned as Andrews' bag carrier, or "that guy who only has a job because Jeff Andrews has political stroke".
Then, in the WfWA around 2009, when territory Appalachian Wrestling denied Andrews a job, Long ended up as a singles wrestler there. And after a decade of futility he finally hit his stride and ran it all the way to the WfWA World Championship. In fact, as the WfWA and Defiance feuded, Long was the last, and only, wrestler to really score a victory for the WfWA, when he took the World Championship off Defiance's Cobra.
It was too little, too late to save the Alliance, though. Long's contract was absorbed by Defiance, along with all the other Alliance contracts, and he stayed for a few matches, then quit without fanfare.
The thing is, when Defiance ended the Alliance, the guys who didn't quit all mostly threw their lots in with Defiance and Eric Dane. Long didn't. Long never forgave Dane for killing the Alliance just as he was achieving singles fame for the first time in his career, and he never forgave Dane for temporarily causing The Untouchables to break up.

Gimmick
Dark and relentless. The funny thing is Ronnie Long is actually a good guy by nature - but between his loyalty to Jeff Andrews and his hatred of all things Defiance, good luck spotting it here. He serves as the roughneck/brawler wrestler of the Untouchables to compliment Heidi Christenson's submission wizardry, Kai Scott's technical expertise, and Andrews fast-paced explosiveness.
Strengths
+ Ronnie Long can absorb punishment like a sponge and then get right back up again.
+ It's very difficult to make him submit, too. He's only tapped out once in his career so far.
+ Very resistant to mind games. He is hard to bluff and harder to intimidate.

Weaknesses
- Limited wrestling ability. He's really mostly a brawler. Although his technical wrestling skills are ever improving, he's still a brawler at heart.
- That refusal to submit backfires at times, as he ends up injured because he didn't know when to say I give.
- He's been badly injured several times during his career. Most of them healed, but he still has trouble with his ribs in long matches.

Quotes
- The Gods don't answer prayers and the Devils aren't worth it anyway.
