Fan Reactions To Guerilla Grindhouse & Former Trios Champions To Undergo 'Rebrand'
Posted by Lance Warner on 9 Oct 2013
Lance Warner here beaming all of the latest DEFIANCE news directly into your face holes.
DEFIANCE may have lost their TV deal in the States, but Eric Dane has vehemently denied that he’ll be shutting the doors of the promotion any time soon by taking the wrestlers and crew on the road (read over the seas) to Japan. And boy howdy was the first Guerilla Grindhouse ever a success.
While there were many talking points begging to be discussed around the vast number of water coolers covering the world, one group in particular really seemed to stir up the chatter from the Japanese fans as they shuffled their way out of the arena. That was the group of Alceo Dentari, Tony Di Luca and Vincent Rinaldi.
Now, this reporter couldn’t make out what they were saying, but he did manage to pick out a few select words. Mainly ‘Alceo’, ‘Diruka’, ‘Nani Mo’, ‘Yakuza’ and then a lot of laughter. I’m still not sure what Nani Mo means, but given the laughter following each utterance I’m not sure it’s something Dentari and co. would be pleased to hear.
Speaking of ‘Dentari an co.’, my sources tell me a press release has surfaced relating to the Italian American trio. I managed to lay my hands on said release and am able to relay the contents to you.
DEFIANCE TRIOS TEAM REBRANDING
The trios team of Alceo Dentari, Antonio Di Luca and Vincent Rinaldi, more commonly known as Alceo Dentari and The Gorillas, wish to announce their rebranding to ‘The Legitimate Businessman’s Club’ (The LBC) with immediate effect.

While unexpected, many understand the rebranding following Dentari & Di Luca’s conversation during the first Guerilla Grindhouse show where Di Luca announced his desire to be considered an equal partner in the team.
Reportedly the rebranding has occurred in order to stabilize the team following their problems as of late. The thought is that Di Luca and Rinaldi never liked being referred to as Alceo’s ‘Gorillas’ and felt it made them look like nameless faces.
Only time will tell if this rebranding is successful in reuniting the former champions, but one thing is for sure, the team have their sights set firmly on recapturing the DEFIANCE trios titles.
