Dan Ryan Steps Over The Line?

Posted by Lance Warner on 14 Oct 2013

On the first stop on the Grindhouse tour Bronson Box screamed into a microphone that The Ego Buster "paid for her hospital bills" what exactly happened behind the scenes? What did he mean? What's the real story?

At the Ascension pay per view Dan Ryan lost control and stepped over the line. Virginia Quell, Bronson Box's companion, suffered for that loss of control. She is currently in a private hospital room at an undisclosed location paid for by The Sophisticate, Edward White. Before that however? She was in a hospital room in Houston, Texas paid for by Dan Ryan himself. He personally paid for her to be transported to Houston from the local Louisiana medical facility she was rushed to after the incident.

Was it out of guilt? Surely. Was it overstepping his boundaries? Sure. Was it also potentially to get under The Wargod's skin? Possibly. We can't put it past Ryan to use the all around kind gesture to put Bronson off his game. Yes The Ego Buster has changed over the last few years... but there was still a time in pretty recent history Dan Ryan might possibly have been an ALLY of Bronson Box rather than an adversary. Ryan was and still is a master manipulator, the kind of man who's mind is always "playing the game" and to great effect as we all saw at the conclusion of the nights main event as Ryan walked away a two time FIST of DEFIANCE.

Thousands of miles away from Virginia Quell's sickbed her "Hollis" stews in his own vile brew of hatred and resentment. Dan Ryan might have walked away with DEF's number two belt... but honestly, considering Bronson's history... did Dan actually win anything? Four more shows, four more opportunities for Bronson to seek his unquestionable revenge.

More on Bronson, Ryan and Virginia Quell as we get it.
