Find out which new Defiant has alrteady earned the contempt of The Last Nighthawk
Everyone knows how Christian feels about The Untouchables and his opponent this week, Dragon Jones. But what about Dan Ryan's new nemesis?
For the uninformed, Christian Light recently took on the Boogie Smallz challenge in Empire Pro Wrestling. The match was fairly back and forth, but it looked to be going in a direction familiar to most Defiance fans: with Boogie Smallz falling to the patented Realizing The Dream.
That is, until Smallz threw some hardware into the plans.
Boogie used a combination of a handful of salt, a chair, and a claw hammer to put a heinous beating on the Last Nighthawk, focusing on throttling The Last Nighthawk about the head with the hammer. Light was able to walk out under his own power, but considering the frequency of attacks aimed at Christian's head recently, he clearly wasn't happy with Boogie.
When asked about Boogie Smallz' appearance in Defiance, Christian had the following to say:
"I've always thought Defiance needed a guy who could be a stepping stone, a wrestler for whom our younger kids can get some experience on. Boogie is a perfect candidate for that role. Because really, in his then-home fed, in his own challenge, he had to resort to a trip to Home Depot to save face. What does that say about his skill, or lack thereof?"
"He likes to bill himself as the second coming, sure. But I don't think he has what it takes to fight with the top stars in Defiance."
When asked about Boogie's match with Dan Ryan this coming show, Light smiled and responded, "Boogie's gonna get himself a dose of humility"
