Stepping out from the airport taxi, Uriel Cortez stares out at a bright, but still aged light blue duplex. In the middle of a relatively quiet neighborhood with cracked streets and mostly rundown homes, the large man stands out like a sore thumb. As does his tall fiance stepping out the opposite side. Holly “Titaness” Aldaine rolls her luggage out of the trunk and watches the taxi depart, leaving them standing on a busted sidewalk. 

Titaness:
Home?

Emotional eyes hidden behind tinted sunglasses, Uriel takes in the sights of home… or what he remembers of it before time chipped away at it. 

Uriel Cortez:
Yeah. 

The two start to walk forward…

With Tom Morrow fka Junior Keeling, their ex-manager, laughing from the ramp.

The night Lucky Sevens joined Better Future Talent Agency.

Uriel and Titaness knock on the door of the home. Roughly ten seconds later, the door opens and there stands none other than the person that helped bring the giant into this world. Mother Carolina Cortez turns on her hearing aid and greets her son with a giant hug! After the hug, she signs to her son and to his fiance. 

Carolina Cortez:
“Welcome!”

Uriel signs back. 

Uriel Cortez:
Good to see you. 

Uriel hugs back. Titaness smiles and waves hello.

Five Minutes with Tom Morrow vs. The rights to the Sky High Titans name

The crowd JEERS as Max hooks the legs of Minute. Uriel tries to get back in, but a pair of hands from under the ring keep him from getting back in!

THREE!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

DING DING DING

DDK:
That… that move was Mason’s. THAT WAS MASON LUCK IN THE RING, NOT MAX!

Keeling’s heart sinks while Morrow is on the ground against the barricade, holding his jaw but still smiling like the asshole he is. Uriel jumps back, then runs into the ring to save his partner from further harm just as Mason leave the ring. Indeed, the hands under the ring belong to Max Luck as he rolls out, holding his rib cage, but still getting the last laugh nonetheless. 

Darren Quimbey:
Here are your winners of the match… MASON AND MAX LUCK… THE LUCKY SEVENS! As a result of the stipulation, the Sky High Titans name, likeness, nicknames and merchandising rights now belong to Better Future!

Then later footage of The Lucky Sevens hitting their manager, Thomas Keeling, with a Winning Hand Slam on the ring apron, injuring him and effective retiring him as a full time manager.

Los Tres Titanes vs. Better Future Talent Agency (Alvaro de Vargas and The Lucky Sevens)

Titaness tries to kick away at Max Luck on the outside, but she gets grabbed by the hair by Alvaro de Vargas! He kicks her with a boot and then looks like he’s going to try something when he sees Uriel Cortez coming… 

ALVARO MOVES… 

BUT TITANESS DOES NOT! 

URIEL CATCHES TITANESS WITH A SPEAR! 

DDK:
OH, NO! NO! URIEL CORTEZ WAS AIMING FOR ALVARO WITH THAT SPEAR, BUT HE CATCHES TITANESS! HE HITS HIS OWN FIANCE ON ACCIDENT! 

Cortez starts to get up and looks horrified at what he does, but as this continues, he catches an Abajo Vas running knee strike by Alvaro on the outside!

Max Luck grins as Mason sets up Minute for a powerbomb, then Max grabs the Winning Hand… Winning Hand/Powerbomb combo!

Lance:
Now what are the twins doing?

DDK:
OOOOH! They took The House’s old finisher and mixed it with their own! They call that move SEVEN STARS!

The Faithful jeer LOUDLY as Max hooks the leg when Alvaro comes in! 

ONE!

Uriel panics between what just happened to Titaness and the ring! 

TWO!

Uriel tries to get in and save things… but Alvaro grabs him by the neck to keep him from break

Dan Leo James and Minute both arriving at Cortez’s mom’s place and greeting everyone.

As ready as we’re going to be. Last chance. 

Minute:

Titaness grabs the massive hand of her massive beau at the table. 

Titaness:

Lucky Sevens Lucky Lottery, Unified Tag Team Titles
The Lucky Sevens (c) vs. Titaness... And Sgt. Safety

Lance:
No! Come on! Mason cheated!

The referee doesn’t see it! Sgt. Safety has been hurt and wants a tag, but Mason Luck runs over and grabs him with a Winning Hand … then hits a Winning Hand Slam on the apron! 

DDK:
Oooh! Sgt. Safety gets taken out of the match! 

Max Luck has Titaness and tags Mason. Tom Morrow is running for dear life back down the ramp with Uriel Cortez just after him. Max Luck smiles and then hits Titaness with Luck’s Gone Bad! The Winning Hand into the lariat drops Titaness and Max covers her while looking up at Uriel on the ramp!

One …

Two … 

Three!!!

DING DING DING!!!

Titaness… still visibly shaken from that match… puts it behind her and continues working the training rope. 

More of her aggression is taken out on a kicking bag.

Mason Luck applies The Winning Hand and tries to lock him up! He tries the iron claw to wear down The Titan of Industry, but the crowd is willing him on! He slowly starts to fight back up and then uses two big shots to the arm to break Mason’s grip! Tom Morrow climbs on the apron to distract Uriel and he turns to face him. He sees Mason moving… Mason crashes into Morrow!

Lance:
Looks like a communication breakdown for Better Future! 

Mason Luck angrily turns, but finds himself the victim of a STIFF Chop of Ages MAX to the chest! Mason collapses, but Uriel holds him up… he POWERS Mason off the mat into the 218 powerbomb! 

DDK:
URIEL WITH THE PIN ON MASON! HE COVERS! 

ONE…

TWO…

THREE!

Titanes Familia celebrating in the ring after the win…

Then Tom Morrow letting the world know the title match for ACTS of DEFIANCE is official. 

Tom Morrow:
If Cortez and the tall drink of water want a title match then they agree that if they lose at Acts of DEFIANCE, no member of Titanes Familia gets another shot at the titles as long as The Lucky Sevens are champions!
