Title: EMPIRE FOR ONE (2)
Featuring: Gage Blackwood
Date: 09/16/2020
Location: WrestlePlex Parking Lot
DEFIANCE Wrestle Plex. Dark night. A storm has just passed through the area. There are a limited number of cars left in The Faithful’s side of the parking lot, there are even less cars remaining on the talent’s side. For DEFIANCEtv 141 has finished and with it a giant storm… inside and outside the arena both literally and figuratively. This was the night DEFIANCE’s own Cayle Murray returned home. This was the night Cayle stabbed them in the back, too.
The exit door to the arena slams open and slams shut. Walking through is the current Southern Heritage Champion, title belt around his waist, sporting black jeans and his trademark “WHAT HAVE I DONE FOR YOU LATELY?”
“Joke.” Blackwood mumbles to himself. “What a joke.”
Is he mad at Cayle? Is he mad at The Faithful? Only he’d be able to answer that… but seeing as though Gage turned his back on the DEFIANCE supporters too because he felt like they never “got him”, it might be the latter.
Blackwood arrives at his car. He throws his duffle bag down, pops the trunk and takes a deep breath before taking in his surroundings. Throwing his bag inside, he slams the trunk as hard as possible, ensuring no one was there to see it.
One cold glare at the WrestlePlex building, he can hear commotion happening from inside.
“I’m going to ruin The Biggest Boy.” He says softly before opening the driver’s door. However, he does not enter the car. Instead, he sees a young boy emerge from the shadows, notepad and pen in hand. How this kid got into the talent parking lot, who knows. Either way, he seems to be approaching Gage.
“Hi there, would you be able to sign this for me?” The boy shouts, making his way in Blackwood’s direction.
The Noble Raider’s face puts aside his anger. He nods, about to speak up…
Until the boy passes him.
“You’re my favourite, Mr. Douglas.”
There’s “Sub Pop” Scott, standing at the exit doors. Scotty kneels down and smiles at the kid. “You got it.” He says. “And what’s your name?”
“My name is Danny.” The kid, no older than ten says out loud.
“My name is Danny.” Blackwood mocks the words, letting out a frustrating huff and slides inside his vehicle. He drives away.
