Wade Elliott Benched

It looks like DEFIANCE’s resident “Bad Dog” will stay chained to the porch this week.

The events of DEFtv #40 last week saw Wade Elliott, one-third of the Big Damn Heroes, struck by a black, unmarked vehicle in the parking lot just before his Southern Heritage Title rematch with Tony “Two-Hands” Di Luca. Elliott was counted out of the competition, unable to reach the ring in time thanks to some “convincing” from the Legitimate Businessman’s Club to the evening’s referee, Carla Ferrari. Elliott refused treatment after the incident.

However, that may not be enough to keep the ‘Bama Bruiser in action at DEFtv #41.

“I’m not in the habit of allowing my wrestlers to compete when they’ve clearly suffered suffered serious injury,” says “The Socialite,” Ed White. “So, no, Elliott is NOT cleared to wrestle this week. Maybe that will calm him down.”

“If White’s gonna try’n keep me outta that ring this week, he oughta keep a lot of god-damn security handy,” were Elliott’s only comments on the subject.

“Trust me, keeping Elliott out of the ring is only part of it,” White continued. “Because his injury is of utmost concern to me and the DEFIAfans, DEFsec will be close-by to make sure he doesn’t try anything, you know, to keep him safe. He won’t be able to take a piss without his very own entourage.”

Meanwhile, the Big Damn Heroes are taking lengths of their own to find out exactly who was responsible for the vehicular attack on the Southern Sparkplug last week, though most are quick to point the finger at the Legitimate Businessman’s Club; Lindsay Troy’s lawyer, Clay Darcy, has since requested video footage from the parking lot and dock area where Elliott was attacked.

More to come as it develops.

TALKING DEF

"We have, after all, returned to the "great" city of New Orleans. A place most famous for its tendency to get drunk and nude. A city with a whooping 71% graduation rate in its local school system - which seems high until you realize that New Orleans routinely graduates students who are unable to read as evidenced by the quality of the signs here tonight. But why would you care? You don't need to read to flash your breasts for beads though, do you? And the most egregious offense of all: New Orleans birthed this ignorant, aggressively stupid, childish excuse for a company. Yes, children, it is fitting - DEFIANCE was born from a decrepit landfill full of ignorant swamp-folk, and for its 200th episode it returns to the black hole of civilization from whence it came."
