As the SEG sets out to make DEFIANCE great again backstage; DEFsec and the medical staff have their hands full on the rampway.

Midorikawa, or MDK as he is commonly refered, just rained down a world of hurt on the Brutal Attack Force; for the second week in a row. All with the intent of keeping Scott Douglas from having any opportunity to compete or the potential to score a victory.

Scott Douglas stands amongst the destruction trading back and forth between his hands on his hips, shaking his head … and the face palm. It's clear he has some geninue concern for the fate that has befell his would opponents.

Iris Davine rushes out from the curtain and drops to a knee to quickly access Petey Garrett. Her team has already assembled and begun attending to Solomon Grendel before the transmission moved on to the rest of the show.

Scott calls out trying to assert that he had no complicit part in this.

Petey! Petey! I swear …

Iris, having checked Petey’s vitals and overseen his secured strapping for travel stands and turns to Douglas; as Petey is carried away.

Scott …

Scott ignores Iris and continues to try to convey his position over her shoulder. Iris persists. as Petey’s gurney and it’s ushers clear the curtain, she is able to command Douglas’ attention.

Scott! We will see to both Petey and Solomon. There is nothing you can do now but stay out of the way and let us see to them.

Ok, yeah … but -

Scott trails off and goes back; over her shoulder and toward the curtain. Iris raises her hand, snapping her fingers in the general vicinity of Douglas’ face. He returns.

I had nothing to do with this … I swear.

Scott, look … I understand that. There is nothing more you can do now. Did you ever get the ImPACT testing, that I suggested?

I don’t know, what or why that maniac is taunting me. I don’t know why he’s attacking these guys … but this IS NOT me! I did not commission this!

Douglas storms away from Iris and heads backstage through the curtain. Iris gives chase.

Iris clears the curtain and the camera turns to Darren Keebler and Angus Skaaland at the commentator's booth. Darren glances at his monitor once or twice while thumbing through pages as Skaaland barks and curses at the SEG images in front of him.

"Oh, and BRA-VOOOO on all of the “Back in the kitchen, little lady’ jokes, Bronson. Turns out it’s not only your wardrobe that’s stuck in the 1920s. Well done on the low-hanging fruit there, you malnourished-looking travelling carny half-wit. For the record, I’ve always wanted to ask, what’s with the stupid wrestle-suspenders anyway? Did you fall into a cave when you were a kid like Bruce Wayne, only instead of a big scary bat inspiring you to fight crime you saw a bearded lady, a strongman, and a clown playing a calliope and you were moved to fight good taste with black and white special effects, ragtime music, and a disturbing and strange desire to roll back women’s rights?"
