The Last of Us (18)

Tyler scurried through his backpack. He was looking for something that might calm his brother down, until he realized he never packed it.

“Oh well.” Tyler said out loud.

“Oh well, what?” Conor added.

“Look, nothing. Let’s just keep going. Stay RIGHT behind me. Keep your eyes closed if you want. I promise we’ll be fine. No one other than The Developer is here, anyway.”

Conor did as he was told. Together the two of them marched down the rest of the DEFIANCE hallway.

“Hey, Tyler?” Conor asked.

“Do you think this is a 16-bit or 64-bit system?”

“I thought it was 8-bit.” Tyler replied. “Did you see the character art on their website? Very neat, polygraphic, pretty retro though.”

Conor nodded. “Yeah, that makes sense. I just hope this system is more than 4-player compatible.”

“Oh, I’m sure it is. Don’t let the 8-bit fool you. Like I said, this is the place to be…”

And they continued down the hall.

"Look at the size of this freakin' house. That's right. As Joe the Plumber alluded to, I have a bazillion homes, each at least two hundred square miles in area. This is one such home. Remember that part of the book of Revelation in the Bible when John gave the dimensions of the city in heaven and described it in miles of length, the walls in miles of height and so on? It might as well have been a studio apartment compared to this. My home has mile markers. That's what I'm sayin', here. I'm not FROM Texas. Texas is inside my house. It's that big. Right now, I'm sitting on a couch in one of two-hundred fifty living areas in this one house alone. Just outside the window is my swimming pool, the Gulf of Mexico. I pay thirty Mexicans to lift my dick for me when I pee."
