“Okay, fine.” Tyler said. “We can go back home.”

At first, Conor looked relived. He leaned back in his seat and was content with the decision. That was until he opened his mouth.

“No. We have to go. We have to.”

Tyler smiled in agreement. “Good, because we weren’t leaving anyway. I would walk in that door without you.”

Conor’s eyes grew wide. It was the most blasphemy thing he’s ever heard! His brother, go in alone!? “You mean, you’d be the only player!?” Conor quipped.

“I guess so. I’m sure this is a one player system, too.”

“Well, forget that.” Conor replied. “I’m in. Tag team, remember? Let’s get going!”

To show how excited he was, Conor tried to put on the bravest face possible. He jumped out of the car and almost sprinted to the Wrestle Plex doors. Upon getting there, he did not realize there was a curb right before the doorway. He tripped and landed hard on the side of his face.

Conor lay there for a few moments. His ego was bruised more than anything as he heard his brother’s footsteps coming. Offering his hand, Tyler pulled Conor up.

“What’s this?” Player One noticed, bending down beside his brother.

It was a screwdriver.

“I think this is Chris Ross’ power-up weapon.” Tyler said. “Not sure if it’s compatible with us, but we should keep it. If anything, it means Ross doesn’t have his upgrade right now.”
