Back at the gym, Mathias is hitting the bench machine hard as Codee cheers him on.

Codee:
Finish! Finish! Finish!

Mathias racks the barbell and gulps for air.

Mathias:
I’m good. I’m so good. Look at me. I’m shredded.

Codee:
Heck yeah you are, bro.

The pair clasp hands in bromanship but before they can head off to the next piece of equipment, Mathias pulls Codee in close.

Mathias:
Wanted to talk to you.

Bright eyed and full of uncertainty, Codee tries to appease his client with calmness.

Codee:
Bout what?

They begin walking and talking through the gym.

Mathias:
Chaz. You know, your other client? What was he referring to, asking me if I knew a girl named Sara? I don’t have a clue who that person is because I’m a committed husband.

Codee can't help but shake his head.

Codee:
I have no idea either, man.

They arrive at the leg press machine, looking it over. Mathias just stares at Codee before taking a seat and setting the weight.

Mathias:
Okay. I don’t believe you but okay.

Codee tries to focus on the task at hand and move off the subject but the rest of the workout couldn’t help but be filled with unmitigated tension.
