David Hightower Biography

David Hightower is a simple man with a life riddled in tragedy and near death. He grew up in the south with his parents helping out with his dad's junkyard business. David spent more time in the principal's office than in actual class because he always was brawling with someone. He just was someone that didn't put up with crap from anyone.

At the age of 18 he went into the military and was immediately locked up in jail after he punched his military sergeant so hard he woke up at 5 AM the next day. He was released 2 years later to discover his mom has fell ill to cancer. It was a long emotional road for David. David picked up drinking heavily as a way to cope and eventually she inevitably passed away.

David was once a cheerful fun loving guy but he evolved into an emotionless brute who just didn't care about anything anymore. At the local bar he constantly was getting into fights. He even was shot on one occasion and had to get a bullet removed from his shoulder. He also was stabbed with a switchblade in one of his arms. However the most horrifying of his scars happened when he got locked up in prison for almost killing someone in a bar fight. While he was in prison an inmate cut his entire back open with a sharpened piece of metal. David laid there in a pool of his own blood. It took a transfusion to safe his life.

10 years he served in prison and all it did was make him an even more angry time bomb. After he was released he closed everyone off from his life and lived alone in a run down trailer in a park. All he did was drink his life away. However one day his niece came over to try and talk to David. She took David to the dog shelter she runs and to everyone's astonishment David took to caring for dogs. In fact that's where he met his best buddy, a grey pit bull named Whiskey. However despite this the urge to fight still burned brightly. David decided he wasn't about to get locked up again. He wanted to do things differently. He took a huge risk and entered the pro wrestling circuit. Without any formal training of any kind he came in.

David was as inexperienced as it got but something bizarre was happening. He was winning! His style was sloppy, botchy, ugly, but very damn effective. Now David has arrived to DEFIANCE opening the next chapter of his life with his new manager, Jamie Sawyers.
