Only a few days until Ascension and no one is more nervous than Sam Turner Jr. His family is behind him and his friends are behind him, however Harlan Co. is split. A vote was actually tallied up and Sam came in second.

Tucker gets no love from the southeastern Kentucky fans, he must agree with Obama on ending coal mining operations. It's hard for an outsider to get love against a Kentuckian.
Now that the votes are in and Chance seems to be the winner that just adds weight to the already wide shoulders of Sam. The boy could be confused with a pack mule, but he's not near as bright, he is just as strong but wits passed him by.
Sam is willing to do whatever it takes to win, but will the ability pass him by or will he overcome all the pressure?
