Congratulations to DEFIANCE Champion

Today one of the champions of DEFIANCE hits an important milestone.
Three hundred and sixty five days ago DEFIANCE wrestling was in the midst of its Guerilla Grindhouse world tour. In fact, one year ago today we were in Dusseldorf hosting Grindhouse: GERMANY in front of 7,500 European DEFIAfans.
One man that certainly won’t have forgotten that night is the reigning FIST of DEFIANCE Eugene Dewey who, on that night in Dusseldorf, walked away the new FIST of DEFIANCE. A title which he still holds to this day.
“Really? One year already?” The FIST asked me on the phone earlier when I called him for a few words, “Dude, it sure doesn’t feel like it. Heh, I remember that feeling when I won the title like it was yesterday. That rush of adrenaline and relief that I’d finally made it, you know?
“Actually it’s remembering that feeling that’s been keeping me going recently. All this stuff between Eric Dane and Edward White has really affected the boys in the back. It’s not been like it used to be, that’s for sure, but maybe that’s about to change. I know it’s early days yet, but with what’s happening with White right now I think the DEFIANTS in the back might just start perking up again.
“I guess we’ll find out just what they’re all thinking next week.”
Of course when saying ‘what’s happening with Edward White right now’, Eugene is alluding to the bombshell that Edward White has had all of his assets seized by the US government after numerous violations of US and International financial regulations came to light. What that all means for DEFIANCE obviously remains to be seen, but make sure you tune in to DEFTV45 to stay up to date with all of the fallout of this scandal.
Speaking of TV45, and of Edward White, and of the FIST, I’ve been assured that the announced match of Eugene Dewey vs. Alceo Dentari is still set to go ahead despite Edward White no longer appearing to be in charge of DEFIANCE.
