Match Announced for DEFtv46

The office of Kelly Evans has noticed the mayhem caused by "The God-Beast" Mushigihara in recent weeks, and has announced a match for the upcoming episode of DEFIANCE TV meant to put him up against some "real competition."

At DEFtv46, The God-Beast will do battle with Tony Davis, who he mercilessly mauled backstage in the catering area previously.

"We all know that Fatboy can talk the talk," Evans reportedly stated, "but let's see if he can walk the walk against someone his own size."  It would be the first time in a while that the massive former DEFIANCE World Trios Tag Team Champion has faced an opponent comparable to him in size, though that doesn't seem to matter much, as the last time Mushi and Davis crossed paths the God-Beast was able to suplex Davis with little effort.  This match will not only give Davis an opportunity to avenge his assault, but also provide Mushigihara with a platform to plead his case for a shot at singles gold.

"Of course Mushigihara is prepared," Eddie Dante, Mushigihara's former tag team partner and current manager, boasted, "he will level Tony Davis with ease, and perhaps after that, Ms. Evans and I can continue the discussion that was started by Mr. White and myself before his unfortunate departure," calling reference to former DEFIANCE owner Edward White and his recent legal problems. "I am, as always, confident in my charge's abilities to make Ms. Evans see the light and present us with an opportunity to carry this promotion on Mushigihara's shoulders.  I certainly wouldn't want to be Tony Davis on that fateful night, that's for certain."
