Biography
Wade Elliott, Lindsay Troy, and Tyler Rayne were all in a not-so-little company called PRIME from 2007 to 2012, but to say their history with one another has been tumultuous would be an understatement.

Rayne and Elliott debuted a week apart in '07 and couldn't have been more different. Tyler was the people-pleasing, fan-appreciating rogue, and Wade was the generally antisocial and quick-tempered lone wolf. The only things they had in common were alcohol, cigarettes, and unconventional friendships with Troy, who had already been with the company for a year and at the time of their arrival was the PRIME Universal champion. Tyler's and Wade's professional interactions with each other were limited for the first few months of their PRIME tenure, which allowed their personal rapport with Troy to grow separately from anything else. Lindsay's and Wade's friendship would be tested, ended, and rekindled on multiple occasions, stemming from the two being too thickheaded for their own good, while her's and Tyler's would very slowly and very privately move toward something more.

In early 2008, Wade's and Tyler's paths in PRIME started to cross more and more and Lindsay did her best to try and remain neutral. Backstage confrontations laced with threats soon became the norm, as were brawls in and out of the ring, parking lot violence (including the infamous "Tyler Running Over Wade With a Car" thing), and a match for the 5 Star Title that defined that year's UltraViolence pay-per-view. Lindsay's and Tyler's friendship/relationship became strained after he injured her friend and former tag partner, Danny Ferguson, in order to prevent his friend, Chandler Tsonda, from being critically injured at Danny's hands at the pay-per-view prior to UltraViolence. What they had was finally broken after said car incident.

While Troy and Rayne would eventually reconcile for good, Rayne's and Elliott's feelings toward one another did not change. They briefly set aside their differences for the betterment of PRIME during a temporary SCCW invasion, but they were back at each others' throats in early 2009. Wade put the final nail in the coffin of his friendship with Lindsay right before UltraViolence '09 and the two had no further contact. At the pay-per-view, Rayne was put on the shelf long-term at the hands of his nemesis Devin Shakur, and Troy left the company to take care of both him and her ailing uncle. At Colossus VI, Elliott lost to Tsonda and disappeared right after. Despite their falling out, and worried that something may have happened, Troy tried to contact him but had no luck. While she and Tyler would return to PRIME at different times in 2010, their appearances would be short-lived. They left the company in 2011. PRIME went on hiatus not long after and looked to be done for good after being run into the ground by a maniacal Devin Shakur.

In the spring of 2012 it was announced that a new ownership body had bought PRIME out from what was left of the company's Board of Directors and would be doing a proper closure run through the summer and into the fall. Lindsay and Tyler signed on for the tour. In reality, Troy was a silent one-third of the new owners along with Matt Ward (Tchu, the other silent investor) and Killean Sirrajin (who served as the public "face" of the owners). On ReVolution 248, the company's first show back, Wade surprised Troy backstage to patch things up and explain where he'd been, but was unsuccessful as Lindsay turned him away in a rage. Tyler, by that point, had put his and Wade's problems and issues to rest and the two were able to come to a mutual understanding and respect on ReVolution 249. It would take Wade and Lindsay all of the farewell tour to reconcile and make amends for the bridges they burned.

So why are these three back on the road after a year and a half away from it all? What's known at this point is Lindsay and Tyler called Wade and managed to convince him to join them as a team.

Why did they pick DEFIANCE?

That answer will come in time.
